This week has been full from the start! It's the last week of summer vacation for the kids andthey are filling it full. On monday Bayley, Brax, Emma, Zoe and Zoe's friend Anna spent 3 hrs, in peak sun, at the Y pool. They came home looking rare! Braxton swam 3 laps!!! and then almost fell asleep on a lounge chair for awhile. He's burnt on one side. I had to break out the Noxema cream for him.
On tuesday Bayley, Brad and Zoe sat for Braxton'd first shift at State Fair parking for Scouts. Brax had his monthly visit to the U in the a.m. so other family members filled in til I dropped him off later. I brought Bayley and Braxton's bikes back to the parking lot so they could ride home after their shift. Braxton and, friend, Dan took the scenic route and explored some trails behind our neighborhood school. It was good to see Braxton being active and enjoying his bike!!!
Zoe spent the afternoon at preschool with me then went to a sleepover party that evening. Busy party girl! This is her 4th b-day party this summer. Ema spent the evening at the Fair with Barb and Rich. She petted baby animals, went on rides and ate some fair food. She had a great time!!
Today, wednesday, the kids went to the Fair with Brad. Zoe got her, usual, wacky Fair Hair do. They ate, tons, and spent about 6 hours there. It was cloudy so the heat and sun wasn't a factor today. After the Fair we all met at Valentine Hills School for Meet The Teacher day. Emma and Zoe met their teachers and checked out classmates. It's always fun to go and see how everyine has grown and where friend groups have landed. Zoe is starting her last year at VHS. Emma ia starting her first. Big milestones... I gathered my 4 kids together for a picture with kindergarten teacher Mrs. Persuiti. She has taught all 4 of them now!! "My how they've grown..."
