Today we picked up Zoe & Gretchen from Camp Courage. Zoe came home with David & Braxton while Gretchen headed on for a vacation in South Dakota with Paul. All indicators are that the girls got little sleep, but had a great time.
Camp Courage was no ordinary camp. Yes, it had all of the usual camping stuff - swimming, campfires, crafts, hiking, etc. But because it is a camp for children with cancer, it also has special stuff - jet skis, water tubing, horseback riding, mini-golf and more. There is lots of great staff and the girls really really had fun!
Zoe says, "It was fun! Especially when we went Jet Skiing and Tubing! My favorite counselors were Naomi and Amy. And my least favorite night was the night they made us go tenting."
